On Monday, the class had a test on the layout of a yearbook spread. Then for the rest of the class, the time was used to finish up the practice spread of the girl's basketball spread, which I happily already finished! That day we also learned how to create layers and backgrounds.
On Tuesday, the class learned how to place clip art into a yearbook template, and how to get rid of the outside white space so the picture could be easily placed and used in a spread. These we marked by the teacher on how one listened to the lesson and created a good transparent-background clipart. That night, I was also sent on a photo assignment to take pictures at the Duke of Edinburgh ceremony, and I took group shots of the bronzes, silvers, and golds.
On Wednesday, the class got back their test marks, and some got their marks back on their practice spread, and I received both. That day, while the class was finishing up on their practice spreads, I went ahead and began choosing photos for the spread I am to be creating for the yearbook, which is the girl's volleyball spread. I chose a few photos that day, and resampled them, changed their mode to CMYK, and cropped them to the way I liked them.
On the days of Thursday and Friday, I was absent because of an extremely sore throat! Hope I didn't miss alot!
Good posts. Keep up the good work. Level 4+.
